Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – Katsuhiro Harada and Namco Bandai Live Reveal Miharu, Sebastian, Slim Bob, and Dr. Bosconovitch

During the most recent broadcast of Namco Bandai Live, Katsuhiro Harada paid a visit to show off trailers and gameplay footage for four of the six recently revealed Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters. Miharu, Sebastian, Slim Bob, and Dr. Bosconovitch were all previously found hidden in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 disc, and now we have a few quick looks at how they’ll control in the day-old game.

Now, if you weren’t able to catch the stream live, fear not, for HughDawson has provided an archive of that portion of the broadcast for your viewing pleasure. While details are still scarce on how and when these characters will be unlocked, it’s nice to have an idea of their general playstyles while we wait, silly as some of them may be.

Let us know in the comments what you think!

Supposedly you should have, but I havent plopped by disk in yet to see due to other priorities. As far as I remember you need a save data of Tekken Hybrid (meaning you should’ve actually played that game lol) for them to unlock. If we don’t get the costumes something is wrong then.

I disagree, Dr.B on the ground the whole match in T3 was extremely annoying. I get that him being on the ground is nostalgic and all, but I for one would NOT enjoy being trolled online by someone who just lays on the ground the whole round waiting for me to get bored and just commit suicide by running into his boring ass attacks. I like the fact that they’ve actually given him a real playstyle, trust me it’s better this way.

    Lol.  Sebastian using Lili animations.

And, that’s how you make an ‘amazing’ roster of 60 ‘distinct’ characters.Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Harada is all about staying Green! (In more ways than one…)

BTW, props to Dr. B for learning how to stand up for more than 2 seconds.

    • jlb85

Harada never said all of these characters were going to be “distinct.” There was even an interview where he hinted at a Lili clone character. And a bunch of characters were added to the home version for free. And these last few will likely be free as well. So, why are you choosing to sound so bitter and cynical? It’s silly. Especially when around 55 of the characters are indeed “distinct.”

      • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

No, not even the current 55 are distinct.

Marshall, P-Jack, Tiger, etc. also reuse lots of moves.
The entire top row on the character select screen, basically.

And, I’m cynical because I bought the game day 1.  This isn’t your typical front pagery where people are babbling about stuff they don’t know.  I’ve been playing this game since Tekken 1.  I know “reused” stuff when I see it.

EDIT: Kunimistu and Jun are pretty cool, though.

Dude this game is so damn good I just need to laugh at you for complaining at all. Foolish. So god damn good. My boy who never played tekken loves the game and I am a tekken 2 – now full on fan and agree that this game is accessible, extremely entertaining, and the “clones” you speak of are absolutely not that in any way. Just because their single hit combos are similar does not at all make how they play the same. I been using P-jack so much more than reg jack, P-jack is the most unique jack they’ve ever done. Your retarded dude sorry. Go play SSF4 and choose ryu, ken, dan, akuma, oni, or evil ryu. (Incase you missed the joke, they are all clones that really feel all too similar to the other IMO)

        • jlb85

There’s no doubt that many of those characters in the top row have other characters’ moves. But many of them have A LOT of their own distinct moves and properties that make them play quite differently than their counterparts. Also, keep in mind that none of those top row characters were in the arcade version and none of them have ever ever had a moveset that is entirely of their own in any Tekken game. They were added to the game as fan service, mostly for nostalgic purpose or simply for a laugh (slim bob and sebastian). Yet, many (if not, all) have their own in-game endings and can be customized. And they are free.

I, personally, would have bought the game if it were a straight arcade port, featuring only the characters that are in the arcade version. So all of these extra characters are just icing on the cake. And it’s a lot of icing. A lot of free icing.

          • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

            I tell you what.

            When SF5 comes out with:

-All the same characters from SF4 (in new models of course, because new 3D models fool people into thinking characters are comepletely redone)

-an additional 20 shoto clones (with a few different moves here and there to make them “play totally differently”)

            -and 2 genuinely new characters.

…let’s remember this thread, and see how forgiving you all will be.

Here’s a hint: You all will hate it.

          • http://www.facebook.com/eric.scalgione Eric Scalgione

Again I have to just say SSF4 is clone central. SF in general is just clones on clones on clones. Just cuz you lower his health and add a sky stomp doesn’t make him a new character. With tekken on the other hand there are what 75+ combos per character (not counting ones that link up) so who the hell cares if 15 moves are the same, use the other 50 moves BRAHHHHHH.

You been talking mad shit on sfxt and UMVC3 too I read all the comments of shit I enjoyed/ when i have nothing better to do and your always trolling on whatever game is in question. Never anything good to say you just criticize the game every time. I may be mixing you up with another dude but I know I’ve seen your name all over the comments section and I always disagree with you LOL.

No hard feelings I just don’t agree with you ever.

          • jlb85

I don’t read every comment on srk and I am not as involved in this community as others. So you’re bringing in all a lot of baggage that I have nothing do with into this particular argument.

Because, in actuality, I really enjoy SFXT. It’s one of the few 2D fighters I can actually get into. And I totally didn’t mind that the DLC was on the disc. I, personally, am willing to give Capcom the benefit of the doubt and assume that they gave the developers a larger budget than they would have had the disc only had 40 characters. And they were only allowed the extra budget to go ahead and include future DLC on the disc in order to keep the online community unified (and perhaps to save money on bandwidth by making download sizes exponentially smaller).

So, yeah, I am willing to believe they didn’t take away characters in order to make a cheap buck off the consumer down the road. 40 odd characters, with half of them essentially being brand new was already quite the undertaking, and 15-20 bucks (I don’t remember) for 12 new characters was a fair price to me.

So, since I was happy with the DLC for SFXT, you can imagine, that all of these DLC characters for TTT2 being totally free makes me even happier. And now that I know you’re an SFXT advocate, your cynicism toward this DLC just makes me even more confused by your position in this argument.

          • XaviIniesta

So you’re annoyed at posts that say “44 characters, and 15 DLC characters for free!” because you actually want them to say “15 DLC characters, wheres 7 of them are unique, and 8 are clones with a few new moves”?

            Ok, big difference..?

As for your “new characters” argument, first of all, those DLC characters were just as much part of the initial development as anything else. So as you said, compare apples to apples. Compare the new content of both games created during the initial development.

First of all, it’s important to keep in mind that SFXT is a cross-over game, where it’s mandatory to have many new characters. Wheres Tekken Tag 2 is not, and is even a “Dream Match” title, where adding new characters even goes against the point of the game, so the incentive is very low. As such, the comparison you bring up is very bad.
Because you talk about “new characters”, while people are really only comparing what they get for free on Tekken compared to what they have to pay for in SFXT.

Tekken Tag 2 offers a bunch of “new” items and features as well that were added for the fans.

The bikini’s, even though they’re easy to make, were made because of a joke that started on Twitter between Hadara and the fans about him selling a Ganryu swimsuit DLC for $799. But then the fans actually wanted it, and kept asking for it, so he decided to make it, and gave everyone else a swimsuit as well.

Highly requested character Kunimitsu was made because she was the most requested character in the polls and social medias. Unknown was supposedly also made playable because of this.

It’s about making the fans happy, and being able to feel involved in the development process.

Tekken Tunes is a cool new feature. Previously you had to mute the game and play music from the cross media bar, which caused connectivity problems online.

Tekken Federation is another cool new feature, that seems like the kind of thing you’d normally have to pay for, But instead, it seems like it might set the standard for other fighting games.

And because many people were used to playing only one character before, Hadara added 1 vs 2 mode, and some clone characters with similar moves to help people with this. And he also added some unique characters. In return, harada only asked his fans to pre order the game, as that helps Namco a lot with sale estimates.

It’s about people getting what they wanted.
And when it comes to that, Harada is miles ahead of Capcom.

          • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

In the case of SFxT, if you eliminated all the clone characters, you would only lose Ken and Akuma.

In the case of TTT2, if you eliminated all the clone characters, you would lose…a lot more.

In the case of SFxT, if you eliminated all the OLD characters from SF4, you would still have 27 new characters (not including the 7 more DLC characters who are brand new)

In the case of TTT2, if you eliminated all the OLD characters from T6, you would lose…almost the entire roster.

What are you trying to prove here, lol.

          • XaviIniesta

As I’ve said before, the incentive to make new characters is not only extremely high in crossover games. It’s actually mandatory.

While in non-cross over games, in particular fighters, it is lower, because people want to still be able to use their old favorites.
However, Tekken Tag 2 is not just not a cross over game. It’s also a “Dream Match” title.
Those games have even less incentive to add new characters, as the whole point of the game is to make a non canonical story with a roster made up of people’s favorites from the various iterations of the game. New characters are generally presented through new storylines.

          • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

“You’re comparing a cross-over game to a Dream Match title.”

No, YOU GUYS are.  Every “take that Capcom” with regards to roster size and lack of paid DLC is comparing apples to oranges.
THIS IS EXACTLY MY POINT.I’m glad someone here finally admitted that Capcom’s job in SFxT was harder than Namco’s in TTT2.  The burden to create new characters was much higher in Capcom’s case, and they delivered a LOT of them.
You are making MY point by admitting this.

WTF, Dan, Sagat, and Sakura don’t share animations, lol.

And, I recall people calling Capcom lazy when Oni and Evil Ryu were revealed as “new characters”.

And, yet, the same thing happens in Tekken, and everyone can’t believe how HUGE and FREE the roster is.  Of course, they’re free.  These are partial characters, based on already finished characters.

          • http://twitter.com/cnorw00d Robbie J

$15 for 2 characters =/=$0 for some reskins. and again if you play marshall law like forest law then you are playing the game wrong.

Each of those characters have a Hadouken, a Shoryuken, and an flying kick. With your “They are a clone if they share the same or similar moves with another character” logic, that makes them ALL clones.

            P.S. I forgot Gouken.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jolly-Green/100002520138114 Jolly Green

The heck are all you guys talking about!? Everyone was hating on Capcom for the same stupid crap, then completely ignoring the fact that other companies are doing some of the exact same things, sometimes a bit worse. Sure you can be pissed off at Capcom for shoto “clones” or some similar (Ryu, Ken, Akuma etc), but then don’t turn around and start praising another company/fighter for doing the same crap (Eddie, Christy, Tiger, or Marshal and Forest etc), like it’s completely different. Coming back defending those characters as having at least some unique moves is still like someone defending Ryu and Ken as having different unique moves. It is the hypocrisy of others that Emezie attempting to expose, but it keeps floating above most of your heads. I swear Emezie is just a part of the balancing forces of the Universe for all the mindless bandwagon hatred of others. You guys created the monster.

          • http://twitter.com/Mrscrubble M. Scrubble

You’re over simplifying the Capcom hate bandwagon. Most people were not upset at the inclusion of shoto derivatives:
Ryu, Ken, Dan, Sakura, Akuma, Gouken, and Sagat (because there isn’t a lot of muay-thai influence in his move set. imo he’s just a shoto kick boxer)

Capcom was criticized for having five shoto characters and ADDING two additional reskins (DBZ shotos) in a fifteen dollar expansion; at least this was my personal gripe with AE (which I still haven’t purchased). The “whiners” seemed to think that there were enough shoto characters already but Capcom disagreed.

As far as these clones are concerned:

            1) they’re free, so ain’t gonna complain about that.

            2) It’s a tag game, so maybe some people WANT two laws on their team, or two xiaoyus, or two Lilis and I’m glad Namco gave players the option of picking two characters with familiar styles for people who don’t know how to play anyone else.

            3) people really aren’t praising Namco for reskins–they’re just excited to be playing with old characters that haven’t been in Tekken for years. You can argue that Capcom did the same thing with Evil Ryu and Yang and Yun, but Capcom left other old characters out of AE. Namco hasn’t left any one out but Gon, so far less people are salty.

You can argue that people would have still been salty if Capcom reskinned abunch of characters like:

            Guile for Remy
            Dhalsim for Necro
            Seth for Urien

But they didn’t instead they left them out of the game entirely. So yay people are salty but it’s only because their favorite characters got left out for more shoto clones. So on the bright side people hate Capcom, because they used to love their games so much. I know I’m going to be salty if CvS3 gets made and they but Sean in the game. But I don’t hate Capcom just because they’re Capcom–I really used to love their games.

          • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

“people really aren’t praising Namco for reskins–they’re just excited to be playing with old characters that haven’t been in Tekken for years.”

            Um, yeah they are.

“A 60 character roster with no paid DLC!  Thank you based Harada!  Way better than Capcom”…without realizing how different the roster composition of SFxT is compared to TTT2.
Without acknowledging the difference between clone characters with many shared moves and completely brand new characters made from scratch.

Apples to oranges, and I’m getting sick of it.

So, I will continue making this point until people get it.

          • http://www.facebook.com/eric.scalgione Eric Scalgione

No ones cares if there are “clones” when those “clones” are only similar by 15-20 combos out of 75+ combo’s. They also have completely different models… not just a red shirt this time with blonde hair……….. or black with brown hair…….. or just an evil version of the same dude…..

The fact is its free. Please Harada-san shove more character variants down my throat as long as it’s free. Give me a stage where uncle sam has a huge dildo shoved up his a** I’ll get it as long as it’s free.

This game is based off fighting styles. You add a dude who does karate but has different moves, it’s a new character. End of story.
Capcom is flooding the fighting game market and is trying so hard to keep profits above the clearly superior developing companies. I was a huge capcom fan for years, but honestly the way Capcom is just straight up lying to everyone about their PC releases of the games and how it somehow takes a month+ to patch a glitch on xbl and psn is just obnoxious. I mean they blamed steam for not allowing the DLC to come out for another 2 weeks. 2 days later steam said “liars. Capcom can freely add DLC and upload patches to the steam server.” 2 months later I still have no DLC  and am playing on ver 1.02 and the netcode is such shit you can’t even play online. Capcom sucks so bad now. They are totally just flooding the market with re-releases because they know their newer games suck ass. Persona 4 Arena and TTT2 shit on SFxT. I love my SSF4AE and am not ready to admit that game is getting shit on, but please don’t act like this game isn’t badass cuz it is freaking awesome. TTT2 rulez.

TTT2 IS awesome, but that’s besides the point. Anywho, in the way that Tekken does its command lists, you could say that Cammy in SFxT has about 55 “moves” without a single “combo” listed. I’m just saying, there may be a bit of injustice in your comment there. Tekken will list jumping kick in its command list. Nothing wrong with that, just saying. If Tekken can list L, L as an item on its command list, and then the next item on the list is L, pause, L, wouldn’t it be fair to list Cammy’s cr.LP x cr.HP, and cr.LP, cr.HP as 2 different items on the “command list”? First one is about 9x dmg and can only chains to cross rush, the 2nd one is a 120 dmg link that can be further linked into etc etc special cancel etc. She, like many others, has beyond far more than 20 or so commands or combos.

Now it will prolly help if I acknowledge a few things. Capcom doing bad business, is fair to say. Capcom having “clone” characters, yes, of course. TTT2 a freakin awesome game with lots of good content etc put into it, definitely in agreement there.  But none of that has anything to do with anything I am talking about here. I’m not trying to compare what game or company is better or any silly business like that. Yes, Capcom DID shoot the sheriff, BUT, did NOT shoot the deputy.

It’s like everyone wants to blame Johnny for the smell in the bathroom as if he’s the only one who ever has to take a hadouken. If you hate Johnny for something else, hate on him for that, not for some other crap that people you like also do (then act like it never happened when they do).

Ryu doesn’t play like Ken. . . If he does, you’re playing him wrong.

Not to just defend Capcom, I love Tekken too (1,2,3,5dr, & 6, plan to get ttt2 soon), but man, do you guys even listen to yourselves with this?

Does street fighter have character clones? Yes
Does tekken have character clones? Yes

No one’s trying to say that Tekken has clones and SF doesn’t. It’s closer to an attempt at dispelling the apparent illusion that many seem to have, that ONLY SF has clones, while completely ignoring the fact that TTT2 does as well (even worse mind you). The repeated failure to acknowledge this by many, by trying to expose SF for using clones (we all know this already) in Tekkens defense just shows how it’s still not being grasped.

        • XaviIniesta

Your obsession with amount of characters in a roster never ceases to amaze me. I suppose you secretly hold that as a measurement for how good a game is.

All that needs to be said about Tekken Tag 2′s roster is that it is above average for a fighting game. As I’ve stated before, the clone characters were partially developed for a purpose, to help the many people who said they only knew how to play with one character in the arcades, and didn’t have time to practice on the machines. These characters will most likely be added to the Tekken Tag 2 Ultimate machine cabs.

Ignore him jib85. He’s butthurt that people praise TTT2 but shits on his precious SFxT so he tries to find any minor faults he can in it.

       troll post :/

      • http://twitter.com/Mrscrubble M. Scrubble

@  Emezie Okorafor not Robbie J

“A 60 character roster with no paid DLC!  Thank you based Harada!  Way better than Capcom”

I’m sorry you seem to be confused this person is praising Harada-sama for 60 chars (including Reskins) AND “NO PAID DLC!”

If you can read, then you can see why your argument that SFxT has “completely brand new characters made from scratch,” doesn’t mean JACK SHIT to the man who complimented Based Harada-san. Because SFxT requires additional fees for the whole roster while TTT2 requires NONE.

So, yeah people are comparing Namco and Capcom like “apples to oranges” because these apples are free; while your oranges want more money for the full roster.

So maybe you don’t get it.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6D6V67UTMZX6WAAZV6UOKRSS3Y Dominique

Capcom White Knight, your sword isnt sharp enough.

    • Causus

Seriously Emezie, now you’re just hating for no reason. You’re a troll. You. After all that talk about being smarter then that. Fuck you, hypocrite.

      • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

Is there anything inaccurate about what I said?

Or is it just because I’m criticizing a game you like?

        • http://www.facebook.com/eric.scalgione Eric Scalgione

          Inaccurate comments.

You see it as us not seeing your side of the story. (which if I have it right, Capcom barely has any true clone characters and SFxT was a good game that costed me personally over 100 for costumes and DLC)

We are saying that were salty about that $100+ we had to spend (80 without costumes and gems etc…) on a game that really isn’t that special. Were complaining that the DLC we knew about before the game even came out was $20 just for 12 characters, excluding swap and alt costumes and gems. Harada promises all DLC will be free or really inexpensive.

          Currently spent $60 on a pre-ordered TTT2.
          -free lili costume
-free access to 4 DLC characters instantly (who are free for everyone but have yet to be publicly released)
-Snoop Dogg stage which is honestly pimp as hell and would’ve been worth money
-Access to Tekken.com bonus features (28 pages of artwork, 4 track remixes, a guidebook, and something I totally didn’t care about and didn’t look at.
-All future DLC as of now is free….

meaning $60 for a complete game? wtf? it’s been years since I bought a game for $60 and it came complete!

          THANK YOU HARADA-SAN!!!!

          FUCK YOU CAPCOM!!!!

          • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

And, my point is that a lot of this “extra content” can be afforded by Namco BECAUSE MOST OF THE GAME IS REUSED ASSETS.

I can’t say it any clearer than that.

You have more time to cram in “free stuff” when the basic foundation of your game and most of the characters in it were complete 3 years ago.

        • XaviIniesta

Yes, your ‘distinct’ comment would be highly inaccurate, since Harada himself said that the clones were mainly made with people who only play one character in mind. 1 vs 2 mode is another tool developed after the initial vanilla release to help people get into the game.

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jolly-Green/100002520138114 Jolly Green

You sure do have a funny way of supporting Emezie’s points. It’s like you don’t even know that you are doing it. Weeiirrd. . .

          • XaviIniesta

Not at all. But your reading comprehension is quite alarming.

His point was to make it sound like the roster size isn’t impressive by pointing out how 50 is less impressive than 60′. I stated that it’s a moot point since the roster is still impressive as it is above average even without the clone type characters.
Another point of his was that you payed for 12 characters in SFXT where half of them were brand new, and that in TTT2 you get some for free, but only a few were brand new.
I pointed out that the incentive to create brand new characters is a must in a Cross Over title, and very low in a Dream match title, so that incentive is an invalid comparison to begin with. However, I pointed iyut that even 7+ unique DLC characters for FREE seems to be a much more appreciated business model than being forced to pay for 12.

None of that makes his point in any way. It debates against them.
But you’re welcome to try to point out how it supposedly doesn’t if you still misinterpret what we said.

And no, most characters in Tekken Tag 2 aren’t clones.

    • XaviIniesta

Posting out of ignorance seems to be your thing, from what I’ve seen.
And here it is, once again.

Harada stated before that he created clone characters for the console version mainly to help people who only know how to play one character. Far from all characters get one, but some do, so why not?

And what’s with you and posting trolling hate comments on every Tekken topic you find?

      • http://twitter.com/emezie Emezie Okorafor

I know WHY the characters were made.  I read the same Harada interviews that you did.

That doesn’t magically change the fact that they are still filled with recycled assets.

60 characters is less impressive when many of those characters are clones with tweaks.  That’s all there is to it.

        • XaviIniesta

7 out of 15 DLC characters doesn’t magically make the roster unimpressive either though, which is what you’re trying to make it sound like, by failing to mention that 50+ characters is still a well above average number.

And it’s the way you’re arguing this. At times, you’re comparing the incentive to make new characters between a cross over game and a Dream Match title. And you’re mentioning ‘distict’ in a general sense, when no such claim was ever made by Harada. By making a general statement like that without replying to anyone specific, you end up taking shots at the game itself and Harada instead.

Either way, 50+ is still an impressive roster size, and it’s still 7+ unique DLC characters for free, vs the 12 we had to pay for on SFXT.
Personally I only wanted Alisa, so I essentially had to pay $20 for just one character.

And as for what other people said about SFXT, that’s very different because the reactions sparked from the way Capcom handled the whole DLC situation. Which frankly turned into quite a fiasco, PR wise.
Harada has done nothing wrong so far from what I can see, and doesn’t deserve that kind of smear campaign just because you’re sore about what other people say about SFXT.

Like the gameplay or not, but at the end of the day, Tekken Tag 2 is still the most well developed fighting game that I’ve seen in my days, because it involved fanbase feedback on a much larger scale than ever before. And this is the end result.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jolly-Green/100002520138114 Jolly Green

Serious question, isn’t it like a third of TTT2s cast “clones” (something like that)?

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Yan-Zhao/10516382 Yan Zhao

      Emezie’s logic:

SFxT: 1/4th of the roster locked away being charged at 33% of the game’s full price, broken unbalanced gameplay, gems, timer, jabs.

      “BEST GAME EVAR!”

TTT2: No paid DLC characters, a bunch of FREE similar/clone characters added for fun..

“zOMG this game is SOOO AMAZING! /sarcasm.”

    • Quan Chi

I agree. I was expecting leg braces and the remote and the malfunctions. It is not the same effectiveness as Tekken 3. He’s not as unique/interesting without those key elements. I am disappoint.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_IMW4FEU4ORLNXO7RPHLGXYUDUA Luke Taylor

        are you seriously complaining?
harada and namco worked their ass off to make sure this was better than any other tekken they made
        and you’re complaining?

        • Quan Chi

You forgot most characters were in recent Tekken games and all one has to do is transfer script data. And there was a thread that said Harada came up with tag features (or something) in 5 minutes. Skinny Bob and the Butler, look like re-skins to me. So where is this hard work you speak of? It’s only better than any other tekken because it’s going to have almost everyone from the series in it. It’s not like anything else is contributing to that. And you do know that their editing system has different clothes. So transferred character scripts + already existing editing mode = piece of cake. The only thing that’s really going on in the coding department is making sure there are no errors and that nothing was accidently forgotten during the transfer. Not like stages take that much work……..
          Complaining =/= stating the obvious.

          • http://twitter.com/Mrscrubble M. Scrubble

Isn’t it a little soon to say that skinny bob and the Butler are “just rekins”? We don’t even have command lists yet.

I’m sorry you’re disappointed, but if making a game like TTT2 is as easy as you seem to think it is then why don’t you just make a 3d fighter yourself? It shouldn’t be too hard seeing as it doesn’t take “that much work.”

          • XaviIniesta

He came up with the Tag features for the original Tekken Tag in about 5 minutes, 12 years ago.
That doesn’t mean that the characters or the game itself don’t need to be rebalanced to fit these features.

He’s been working 15 hours a day (and you can tell from the amount of time he spends on Twitter that the claim seems pretty accurate) to get this game together. That’s not hard work? It’s not like he is young and inexperienced. He knows exactly what it takes to develop a Tekken game, yet he still poured that much time into it.

He has added a lot of things into the game that fans have wanted. He answers dozens of tweets every day, personally.
The swimsuits started as a joke on Twitter about a Ganryu bikini DLC for $799. Kunimitsu and some others were added due to popular demand. 1 vs 2 mode was added because many people said they could only play with one character. That is also the main reason some of the extra DLC characters are clones, with a few new moves.
It’s all added to try to make as many people as happy as possible.

At the same time, we have the revamped SCV netcode, Tekken Tunes, Federation Mode, and a training mode with features that were requested by the fans, and hopefully will set the standard for other fighting games.

From what I’ve seen, this is one of the most thoroughly developed fighting games out there. And Harada has worked his butt off to make it the game it is today.

      • http://handsomefatman.com/ Carlos Alexandre
