AfterShock – NorCal Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII Teams Revealed

Earlier tonight on UltraChen TV, Ultra David and James Chen premiered a brand new AfterShock trailer revealing the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 team NorCal will be fielding at the event. Obvious choices and surprising picks alike are featured in this video, so be sure to check it out if you weren’t able to watch it live.

Also revealed today were the five players that will represent NorCal in the King of Fighters XIII portion of the competition. We’ve included the KOFCAST archive below, and you can skip to around 26 minutes in to hear the announcements.

When this originally was announced I thought NorCal had it, after the team reveal I think they don’t have much of a chance. GC Yoshi? Honzo Gonzo? KBeast? Show Stopper? Really? Drew, Pat, and Champ are solid for sure but I’m sorry the other half of the team just can not compete with SoCal’s best.

Oh boy Nor Cal bout to get blown the f!#$ up. R.I.P. Nor Cal. Really a troll and a “flag bearer” are the best you could come up with? Only way this even becomes remotely even is if SoCal pulls a PR Rog and dismisses Justin Wong as being “socal” in nature considering hes only been there since 2010. Combofiend, Eliver, Fanatiq, Knives, Infrit, Y2Jay, LLND, DickWin, Clockwork, the list goes on and on for that area. Hell if Socal wanted to do a little trolling of there own they could even give Viscant or Dios X a spot on the team to at least make things interesting. But even then i’d take Viscant and Dios over CJ and Honzo. :/
