BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma’s Second Location Test to Be Held August 24th – 26th

Andriasang is reporting that Arc System Works is set to hold a second location test for their upcoming title BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma next week. This version will feature updated code as well as a look at the game’s new ranking system, though specifics for both have yet to be released. The event will be held once again at Akihabara Hey in Tokyo, as well as other Taito Station arcades in other cities, the weekend of August 24th. We’ll be sure to keep you abreast of any major developments between then and now.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is scheduled to release in Japanese arcades during Winter 2012, with a Playstation 3 release sometime after that.

      Its actually 3 days.  The 24th itself, the 25th and 26th.  Also considering arcades are open for long hours in Japan, they can pack in a lot of gaming to really test this.  From morning till night this game will get tested by many players of varying skill levels.  So this time period is fine.

            A handheld-what?  There are lots of things that can be held in your hand.
            It’s a handheld console.  A console, none-the-less.  It has physical buttons, plays games.  It’s more capable than the PS2, even.  So, if it’s not a console, than neither is the PS2, nor any “console” before it.

            Being too big to hold in your hand, and must be plugged into an external monitor, while playing games is not what classifies a console.

            do you even know what the WORD console means the WORD console doesnt even just apply to a PS3 or XBOX it something that sits and operates a TV is a console a stereo is a console you can hold it in your hand but it would be pretty stupid just like sitting a Vita down and playing it is made and designed to be held in the hand not a console

      Like everything except Persona 4A or Tekken. Only the new ones are alive. Marvel is only played in US, BB in JP, Persona 4A in JP+US and Tekken in Asia. If we are counting by the community then its Tekken>Persona>Blazblue>SF4>Marvel currently.

          Marvel can’t be that high. It’s only huge in US(pretty much not given even a look in EU or Asia) and compared to the numbers of JP+EU+US+Korea and others, Tekken is certainly higher than Marvel in community size in the world. SF4 might be a bit too low in my post above.
