PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s North American, European Release Dates Pushed Back to November

A recent post on the PlayStation Blog announced that the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has had its North American release date moved back to November 20th. Originally scheduled to hit stores on October 23rd, the game will now be released a month later in order to allow the team more time to polish its gameplay and address feedback from fans playing the beta. They promise that the delayed title will be “well worth the wait.” Further announcements are set to be made at Gamescom next week.

In addition, the European version will be pushed back to November 21st, with copies landing in Australia and the United Kingdom on November 22nd and 23rd, respectively.

Rather than the Capcom approach of releasing the game and then making you pay for the “upgrades”. Good stuff! http://KingofProfits.blogspot.com

They need the extra month to add in a worthwhile fighting systm instead of a mad dash for meter

I see you haven’t played the game.

Funny, if you had actually played the game you would realize his statement is 100% correct.

Played it extensively at EVO and played the beta, he’s making a half truth. You have to build meter as fast as you can, yes, but you have to be careful in your approach because a wrong read will give your opponent the opening to juggle you for meter. It’s just like any fighter, you have to play the neutral game and wait for an opening before running in, if you just dash in mashing buttons like an idiot, you’re going to lose.

That’s suicide, to put it in November, if the Wii U launch rumors are true. October would’ve been better. Might as well put it off ’til January or February, now.

Not to mention November is the DEATH BRACKET with both Halo 4 and COD:BO2!

actually it will most likely sell more as a xmas gift to children over cod and and halo, with all the characters, grandma walks in or uncle johnny and looks up and down the game isle for lil tommy and he is getting all stars over cod and halo from grandma.

Yes. I think this is a good move. Rather than the Capcom approach of releasing the game and then making you pay for the “upgrades”. Good stuff!

I think they’re pushing it out of the clear of the other fighting games because they seems to be who they’re aiming it at. But it’s not going to ever get a look in November. rip

I’m happy to hear that because although I haven’t played the game its always looked pretty unpolished and, well, bad. I’m of course willing to give it a shot but I’ve been hoping they really up the polish before release so this was pretty good news to me.
