UDON Launches Streetfightercomics.com – Street Fighter Comics Every Day of the Week

The awesome Street Fighter artists known as UDON, have launched a Street Fighter Comics online website. Streetfightercomics.com will be updating five days a week with fresh content pulled from the pages of UDON’s renown Street Fighter comics. Issues #0 and #1 are already online in their entirety, and issue #2 is being serialized every day!

It’s hard to believe, but 2012 is the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter. Twenty five years of quarter-crunching head-to-head action and competition. Although Street Fighter wasn’t the first fighting game, it was definitely the one that propelled that style of video game into the hearts and minds of millions of players around the world. Capcom perfected the one-on-one game play that redefined arcades and created a legendary cast of characters from around the globe.

For nine of those years the writers and artists at UDON have been small part of that Street Fighter legacy, taking the back story material touched upon in games, anime and manga, putting it all together into a sprawling epic full color comic series. We started in 2003 with our original Street Fighter comic series (which we?ll be serializing here) and will be continuing in 2012 with a new series of over-sized Super Street Fighter graphic novels, bringing together dozens of different fan-favorite characters from the core game series (SF1-4) and Alpha.

If you’ve never read our Street Fighter comics before, you’re in for a real treat. The legend begins today and your monitor is the best seat inmthe house. Get ready for bone-crunching brawls, colorful characters and exotic locations aplenty. Check back every week day for your next action fix.
