In addition to the BlazBlue developments, this week’s issue of Famitsu also contains an updated preview of CyberConnect2′s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure project. All Star Battle, which is being developed in conjunction with Namco Bandai Games, is not your average fighting game, but it will include a cast of characters on par with more traditional entries in the genre. While none of the details are super informative, they give us a quick look at a few things we can expect from the game when its released in 2013.
Andriasang reports the following:
- The game will have a character count at the level one would expect of a general fighting game
- There will be a story mode of a different nature than normal
- There won’t be quick timer events
- Some complained that the sound effects in the game’s reveal trailer were soft. The final version will have proper sound effects.
