Street Fighter x Tekken – Lei 43-hit Solo Combo by Desk

Like most of the swanky combos that Desk does, this 43 hit combo with Lei in Street Fighter X Tekken is incredibly impractical. Not only does it include stance cancels and walking forward between linked normals, it also includes an repeated, unplinkable, one frame link.

Hard for Desk= Easy for everyone else online with the new broken combo editor. Thanks Capcom! #pay2win

I can’t imagine anyone capable of doing this combo would have the shame to use combo editor.

      Quick combos need meter.

      So…yeah.

You actually can’t implement walking within combos using the Combo Editor. The Combo Editor actually has limited uses. You can’t implement things such as timing, walking, jumping, charging, charge partitioning and there’s also a limit on how long your combos are (I think it’s a 10-input cap), meaning you absolutely cannot program this specific combo. That’s right, I bought that shit first day and it’s not that awesome.

This specific combo isn’t meter efficient anyway… But I’m sure you can find a combo that is great and that can be programmed.

i had no idea there was a combo editor in this game, just the quick combo thing that got in the way of plinking. damn they’re just throwing everything they can think of into this game.

    • TheFrikking

The only use for combo editor is cheat on Trial mode.

      Gawd dammit desk…

Loving the combos just as much as the Tekken 2 music

I really wish SRK would post roundups of combo/tech videos every 3-4 days instead of having 6-12 separate articles. It really clogs up stuff that is more news-y and suffers a lot from bias of what to post.(Post every SFxT vid? Sure! Good stuff for other games? Pff, fuck that.)
SFXT roundup, Marvel Roundup, Persona Roundup, random other games roundup, TTT2 roundups when that comes out, etc…

Yeah I agree roundups would certainly make it more clean and less annoying than 10 different articles about day 1 DLC trials/ combos…

a link into a HP move is unplinkable?  how so?

    • Icy_Black_Deep

It says in the video: If you hit HP too early it comes out before the stance is canceled so you get the wrong HP.  Plinking only works when hitting the button too early won’t come out at all.

not a lot of DMG, but it is a good way for a time over or a great way to troll.

      • spectaa

For a character like Lei, I think that’s pretty good damage. I wonder why this move doesn’t increase the juggle counter, they just spent 3 months nerfing xiaoyu to come back with this. Makes sense.

        • TheFrikking

Well, as soon they discover this loop they nerf him, meanwhile let`s hear the kids cry about how broken is the game…
Oh, almost forgot, Desk never rest !!

    >an repeated, unplinkable, one frame link.

I don’t understand why this is such a common typo, but it bothers me. Consider it a rare instance of me complaining about something arbitrary, I guess.

Either way, this video was a nice surprise after the other Lei video had short borish combos… or at least that’s how I remember them :C
