BT|Dieminion Shares His Thoughts on Super Battle Opera

“The Great American Hope” BT|Dieminion has written up a pretty insightful blog about his thoughts leading into SBO 2012. Paired with Latif and PR Rog, Dieminion has an incredibly strong team– but he’s not resting on his laurels just yet.

USA has not had a great showing at Tougeki in previous years. Perhaps it could be because of the one game format that has been Tougeki and the Japanese tournament standard for years. I am looking to change that this time around. Confident you say? Confidence is something you need to be able to compete at a high level. Something that has brought me to the level that I am now. Going into Tougeki being a player with a big name, I know that my opponents are going to be prepared when it comes time. I know that players have been studying and analyzing traits and habits of my game and developing a counter strategy. I have been doing the same, taking some time each day to discover new techniques that none or few have seen.

Just a snip to get you started. You can read the rest over at Broken Tier’s website. We wish Dieminion and his team all the best– and hope to see USA stake their SBO claim once and for all.

Zaid Tabani has been contributing a steady stream of artistic content into the community ever since the resurgence of the fighting game boom. He's been responsible for many well known projects, including(but not limited to) the EVO 2K10 Intro Videos, The EVO 2K11 Theme Song(along with multiple other community members), the documentary series Run It Back and the upcoming film RANBAT. He was even featured in Capcom's "SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV 3D EDITION" commercial, due to his prior work with EVO. He also likes to dress up as a bat occasionally and fight a psychotic crusade against crime. That last part was a joke. Kinda.
