To celebrate the upcoming North American release of Atlus and Arc System Works’ Persona 4 Arena, the folks over at Level|Up Series have decided to feature the game at Wednesday Night Fights next week on August 8th. In addition to the title’s tournament, they will be hosting a special exhibition that will be broadcast during the live stream. This is a great opportunity to try out the game as well as take a look at early competition, so be sure to head out to Super Arcade or catch the stream if you’re interested.
And for those of you unable to attend, Level|Up Series will be making another announcement regarding this game in the near future, so stay tuned.

UPDATE – Level|Up Series also announced a special launch tournament that will take place on August 12th, sponsored by both Atlus and Mad Catz. Casual setups will be available before and after the event. Details on this second tournament have been posted below as well.

- Matches will be best 2 out of 3 games
- Each game will be best 2 out of 3 rounds
- Round timer: 99 sec
- No Unlimited characters
- Winner cannot change character
- Loser can change character
- No game breaking exploits, bugs, or anything that causes the system to crash
- Players must bring their own controller or joystick

- Venue fee: $5
- Tournament buy-in fee: $5
- No spectator fee
Prize Distribution
The prize pot is determined by the number of entries received. The top three finishers of the tournament will be given a cash prize from the pot with the following percentage breakdown.
1st – 60%
2nd – 30%
