Japanese development studio Dimps announced last night that they are now the sole owners of The Rumble Fish, a fighting game series that spawned two games released in 2004 and 2005. Rights to the series were previously owned by Sammy and then Sega when the two companies merged, but Dimps has always been the only studio behind its development. Most recently, the company has served as co-developer for both the Street Fighter IV series and Street Fighter x Tekken with Capcom.
While specifics have yet to be revealed, the company says Rumble Fish development is currently being planned, and a new site has been opened for the series that sports art and links to the official pages for both the first game and its sequel.
