The 2012 EVO World Finals will host a record number of competitors and attendees hailing from over 40 countries, as thousands assemble to compete for championships across today’s hottest fighting games.
Thanks to generous support for the community from our sponsors, we’re pleased to announce record prizes, including $23,000 for Mortal Kombat, $15,000 for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, and more!
“With Capcom celebrating its 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter this year, we thought it fitting that Evo’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 competitors should play for $25,000,” said Christian Svensson, Senior Vice President at Capcom. “Capcom wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of our hardcore fans, and this is just the first of many exciting opportunities to help celebrate this milestone for the Street Fighter franchise.”
