Sony Registers PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Website, Reveal Coming Soon?

It looks like Sony is getting ready for a major reveal very soon. Sal Romano over at the NeoGAF forums noticed that Sony owns the web domain for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. This name should sound familiar since it was recently rumored to be the title of Sony’s Smash Bros-style fighting game developed by SuperBot Entertainment. Outside of the screenshot leak from last year, this is actually the first concrete evidence confirming the game’s existence.

Here are the details from whois:

Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC
919 E Hillsdale Blvd
Foster City, CA 94404

Coincidentally enough, Geoff Keighley from GTTV is also teasing the reveal of a new PlayStation 3 exclusive. Seeing as Sony already announced the latest God of War title, Geoff is more than likely referring to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. We’ll know for sure when the mystery game makes its debut next Thursday.

@geoffkeighley: As the tv guide listings say, yes, next Thurs on GTTV we are unveiling a huge new PS3 exclusive with first game footage. More soon!
