The Tekken news just keeps on coming! In a recent interview with VideoGamer, Katsuhiro Harada revealed that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will use a modified version of Soul Calibur V’s netcode. While SCV’s online experience isn’t perfect, it’s been lauded as the best the fighting game genre has seen in quite some time, so this is pretty good news for players looking to spend some time online with the game when it drops in September. He also mentioned that due to the number of characters and general ins-and-outs of the fighting system, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 handles three to five times more transmitted data than any other game on the market, so they’re implementing all the improvements they can make sure it’s as seamless as possible.
