During tonight’s broadcast of Cross Counter Live, Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez made an important announcement about his future and the future of the show. After spending much of his life involved in the fighting game community, he’s decided to take a step back and refocus on other endeavors and interests instead. Cross Counter and Cross Counter Live will continue on normally, but he will no longer be a part of it. As a competitor and most recently an event organizer and public figure, Gutierrez has put as much into the community as he’s received, and we wish him the best of luck as he moves forward on the path he’s chosen.
