Street Fighter X Tekken – DLC Character Trials by Gungrave

Gungrave2k6 has begun a super early run-through of the trials of SF X TK’s DLC characters. Right now, he has Lars, Jack, Lei, and Elena complete. The trials give you a decent look into how each character plays. Lars looks like a powerful all-around character with a lot of tools. Lei seems rather complicated with several stances to choose from. What’s interesting is that his super is simply a one hit wall bounce if done on an aerial opponent. Elena has tons of range on her normals and uses powerful multi-hitting specials. Finally, Jack hits like a truck. There’s no better way to explain it. Just look at Ryu’s health after trial 20.

      man people……….I wish people would get worked up like this over oil companies or golbal warming. No capcom trying make a few extra bucks off a game. Guess people have there priorites. Guess guys would prefer to pay more for dlc to be transfered to your hard drives that they have ready from game release but just didn’t tell you.

        This whole DLC blowup has proven that people prefer lies over convenience.
        
        Capcom won’t make that mistake again. Next time they will keep everything off disc, and then force us to download massive chunks of files to our HDs. Then, they’ll also charge us more, because these massive downloads will cost them more to upload and store onto PSN and Live.
        
        But, hey, at least it won’t be “on-disc”! Yay!

  If you take your game back to Gamespot and pretend all DLC character footage are previews for game that doesn’t release until Fall, you really don’t feel all that bad anymore. I want to really badly and play ME3 instead, but i’m afraid i’ll miss something if i do.

  He’s overpowered as hell from what I tested. His standing HP can reach almost full screen. His super is the same animation and can punish full screen.

so when is the super edition with the complete cast coming out? i might buy that one with all characters if i find it for 20 somewhere. but i can have a quality bon filet in a quality restaurant for 5 euros more…., so who knows if this is worth it.

Bring back some of the popular EX(who were the first to create trail mode) characters would’ve been cool to see them. Duran, D.Dark, Garuda, Allen , Blair or Sharon, skullmania and the 1st version of Kairi. Damn akira license I wish there was a way around that.
