If you haven’t heard of Daytona 5 Bill before, you’re missing out. He’s got strong delivery and good amount of presence in what he writes. He doesn’t drop his energy during any of his lines, which is something to be commended in the day and age where the majority of rappers out there have the hunger drained out of them into a jar they’ll never open. Anyway, oblique metaphors aside, Daytona 5 Bill just released a new music video called “R. Kelly”. It’s well written, well directed, self referential, and certainly fun to watch.

It’d be easy for me to leave it at that, but honestly this guy deserves as much attention for some of his other stuff as well. I’ll certainly be looking forward to more.

    Wasn’t QUITE feeling that one, but I respect the talent. The P.P. catch-phrase was pretty funny too. And the girl was a cutie (but that’s a given in a video). That said, I don’t wanna down this rapper because there will be enough anti-rap borderline racist comments to come from other posters. The “Anything I don’t like sucks” committee.

    Normally I’d try to support alternative/unerground/whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it rap, but this was just god awful to me.

    I didn’t like his delivery, or the lyrics/content. Didn’t he say he let her win? … buuuut he cheats on her because she beat him?  But he was able to double perfect her… so… she couldn’t have been that much better than him to make him want to… eh what?

    I’d listen to it again, but I’m not about to do that to my ears.

    Oh and by the way why can’t people let old shit die.

      If you cared to listen he said that she beat him then because his feelings were hurt he said that he let her win. He was only able to double perfect on her because he spent  all his time learning cheats and doing combos sso she wouldn’t stand a chance. Prime example of men and their egos. You really should pay more attention.
      And for heavens sake this has nothing to do with R Kelly sextape it was just a refernce to the term PP for double perfect.

    I feel like I have to ask this every time some “music” gets posted here… Why do we call this “good” just because it has something to do with Street Fighter? “I cheated on my girl cus she beat me.” Wow. Just because it’s in the community, doesn’t mean it deserves a spotlight.
