SCV – Algol Combo Video: The Hero King

 newest combo video features Algol’s Soul Calibur V incarnation. Using Algol’s EX headbutt and chair-bounce techniques as demonstrated leads to a number of untechable juggles. SteelgodLink also makes use of short bubble juggles in order to control the opponent’s position, allowing him to set up harder hitting combo finishers that give better wake-up options. Many of these combos manage to break 100 damage, but most require at least 50% meter, if not more.

    What I love about this combo video is that unlike other videos featured on the front page, these combos don’t require a wall.  Though 2 meter for a good chunk of these combos is an exchange for that I guess.

    I’m not one of usually posts negative comments about people’s videos but there is nothing in this video that wasn’t known day 1 and day 2 that I figured out by myself and I am not even that good at SC. 

     The game is just very limited in what you can do have it count as a “combo” because of air control and ukemi options. Nice music in the video at least.

    I love his gun so much. So much juggling with them, and the combos are just silly when you can keep it going for 10 seconds+ with just the gun.
