SSFIV: AE Ver. 2012 Topanga League Round 8 Results, Overall Standings

We have some fresh results and standings from round eight of Topanga’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 league, courtesy of Tokido77. Unfortunately, his run came to an end when he reached Momochi, losing a close first set before only taking one win in the second. I really like this format.  I don’t think we can really do the online prelim portion in the states, but the offline portion looks hype.

When the fighting game community uses the word “convincingly” or it’s derivatives, do they really mean to use the word “decisively”? The reason I ask that victory needs no extra evidence; winning is winning, and losing is losing.

Na the word he was looking for was “in a blowup”

The only character who reoccurs was Fei Long, and only once, nice. Everybody else is using an unique character on the remain standings :)

The first set against Momochi went 6-4 Momochi, not 6-3. Shoryuken should stop using Tokido77 as a source for this event, as he’s been wrong multiple times. Maybe use the source Eventhubs is using.

lol youre sayin as if 6-4 and 6-3 is a REALLY big difference (big enough to shit on the tokido77 site?).. anyway, theres already a thread on srk where people post reactions while watchin the stream live. that can be another alternative source

Like I said, it’s not just that one thing he’s been off on.

Uhh, It says 6-4 on the Tokido77 fan blog. Did he change it or did SRK make the mistake here?

He must have changed it. I checked to make sure it was him and not SRK.

Tokido77 has clarified the deuce error posted for Round 7, not sure about this, but it has a report on Tokido 4th victory.

PS, Tokido with “hood on” is cool enough!

Tokido~!! prove to them all your work, your theory and concept, and fundamental are superior then anything else.  THEY CAN NERF THE CHARACTER BUT NOT THE PLAYER!
