iPlayWinner + Sega to Host First North American Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Tournament At Southtown Arcade

It’s about damn time. The good folks at iPlayWinner have just announced that on February 10th, 2012, Southtown Arcade will finally play host to the first North American Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown tournament. Better yet, the tournament’s being run on an authentic Lindbergh board directly from Japan. The VF series are the technical marvels of fighting games. It takes time to crack open the shell, but once you do — there’s a style here that few fighting games out there can match. In the second fighting game renaissance, it’s time we said, “Welcome back!” to Sega… I can’t help but feel it’ll be worth the wait.

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown released Summer 2012 for XBLA and PSN.

He's been responsible for many well known projects, including(but not limited to) the EVO 2K10 Intro Videos, The EVO 2K11 Theme Song(along with multiple other community members), the documentary series Run It Back and the upcoming film RANBAT. He was even featured in Capcom's "SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV 3D EDITION" commercial, due to his prior work with EVO. He also likes to dress up as a bat occasionally and fight a psychotic crusade against crime. That last part was a joke. Kinda.
