Being Infamous is a PS3/Sony exclusive game, I doubt you’d ever see Cole on a microsoft console. Star Wars characters weren’t owned by their main competitor.

By adding Kratos to Mortal Kombat, I’m sure it attracted the interest of some God of War players to at least give the game a try, whether they were fighting game enthusiasts or not. I’m not buying SFxT for several reasons (several of those being the gems system) and one of the bigger reasons is that console exclusive characters are bad for fighting games. Don’t really care, to be honest. Doesn’t effect me since I have a PS3 and even if I had an Xbox instead, I’d still wouldn’t care. Didn’t care for Kratos in MK9 and I don’t mind this either. Guest characters always been a neat little addition ever since Soulcalibur II. Then again, the only time guest characters ever receive any absolute hype is if said character(s) are from Nintendo. Would have been nice to see a Fire Emblem entry in Soulcalibur Legends, but if SCV ever gets ported on the 3DS or Wii/Wii U, here’s hopin’ that becomes a reality

Killer Instinct characters would be great too. But, due to the graphic nature of that series, they’d have to be really toned down. It’s pretty much the reason why Kratos worked really well in MK. He was already ripping out intestines and cracking skulls in God of War, so the transition to MK came naturally.

But damn…putting Fulgore in SFxT would be some crazy stuff. Reflecting Hadoukens, juggling with Triple Laser Storm, AND the ability to Plasma-port? Force to be reckoned with, and that’s without even getting into Cyber Dash or Plasma Slice!

That’s all fine and dandy, expect we are a website that is about the tourney scene.

It’s actually better that the Xbox 360 isn’t getting any exclusive characters. Killzone didn’t even sell a million copies in the US.  All of those games you named ended up in the negative because they cost more then they sold. That’s the story of Sony. They make all these high budget, exclusive games that no one cares about. lol. The sales numbers don’t lie.

That is why you get a computer that runs all the Xbox/PS3 games a million times better in every single aspect. Consoles are only for fighting games and casual gaming where non of the issues mentioned above really matter (except lag which i rarely have on my PS3 while playing SF or UMvC).

Yep that is why we xbox owners never get anything but shooting exclusives. Trust me get a ps3 like i did but the xbox is still better for Street Fighter.

360 only owners need to relax. For casual fighting game fans, the PS3 version is obviously the better choice, but the moderate to hardcore fans are better off with the 360 version for 2 reasons.

1. XBL has always been better and more stable then PSN, you get what you pay for.
2. You wont have to waste your time learning matchups your never going to come across in a real tournament.

I was going to list the fact that so far, every cross platform fighter capcom has released this gen has been better on the 360, but the game isnt out yet and maybe this one will be the exception.

And before anybody calls me a fanboy, not only do I have both machines, but I also have SSF4AE on both machines so I can play both communities. I just happen to play the 360 version A LOT more, so much so that writing this post has just reminded me that I haven’t downloaded the 2012 patch for the PS3 yet.

720p is the native resolution of these games. And ComFiend plays on PS3…I think PS3 is fine.

have you ever tried programming for the playstation compared to the Xbox? it takes 4 times more work to make the same frakin mocap or keyframe. yes the PS3 has better hardware but its software is a damn joke.

as a PS3 owner, I feel bad for you xbros. you guys should have had marcus and chief in (I’m pondering one which of the characters from fable could show up. shut up). that exclusive spawn for soul caliber two for example was great. come on microsoft, don’t be so cheap!
