With the PS3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken getting exclusive characters Toro, Kuro, and Cole from inFamous, Xbox 360 owners are left wondering “where’s our exclusive character love?” According to a recent article by Xbox360Achievements.org, Capcom originally planned on including Xbox exclusive characters as well. Yoshinori Oni said “we were in discussions with them (Microsoft) for which character to put in as an exclusive, but we weren’t able to decide on a character because of differences in timing and things like that.” As for what characters were being talked about, Ono said “In terms of characters we wish we could have put in the game, Master Chief or Marcus Fenix from Gears of War would have been really cool, but it was just really difficult.”

He then went on to confirm that the Xbox 360 version of the game will have no console exclusive characters whatsoever. “Unfortunately for Street Fighter X Tekken, only the PlayStation family will be getting the exclusive characters, but it’s something we wish could have happened,” Ono said. “It’s just too bad, basically.”
