BBCS:EX – Lambda 11 Combo Exhibition With Full Notations

This new video by  attempts to cover absolutely everything there is to know about Lambda 11 in Blazblue Continuum Shift: Extend. It features basic BnBs and impractical flashy combos. It covers hit-conforms of all types on the air, ground, corner, and mid-screen. It showcases some new Extend only stuff as well as some CS2 combos that still work. It’s everything you needed to know about Lambda 11 in convenient combo video form.

      How about instead of alienating yourself and (potentially) other players, with those kinds of retarded comments, how about you try to talk to the people that like these fighters and work out your differences?

      The very last thing the fighting game community needs is more segregation. east coast vs west coast, SF vs KOF, BB vs GG, anime vs…non anime? it’s all stupid. this hobby is too niche for people to segregate themselves like this any more, its no wonder that the fighting game scene doesnt grow as well as it should, because of people like you.

    I wish I could understand those notations :P

      pretty stupid to me just use up down jump or whatever i dont know controllers with numbers and letters on it jus a waste of info but people do that to make it seem like their sum kind of gamepro or sum

      • RenaTurnip

        It’s not about being pro. In plenty of cases, using number notation is a perfectly good option, especially because games like BlazBlue have so many command normals (like 2C). The only real problem is people like you potentially not wanting to accept it :C it only takes a short short while to really get the hang of numbers, and then everything’s fine.

        And just to be clear, people who are “yay numbers!” who don’t acknowledge QCF notation are just as bad <.< Obviously. Of course it goes both ways.

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_TIC7WNRSMFBSCLF6OR6JQJAAZA sb

          no its just stupid up down left right hcb qcf thats what people are use to why try to change it it makes no sense and it dont matter how many moves a character have ur still gonna use up down left right hcb qcf and so on i have blazblue and i dont see triple 6′s and double d’s on my ps3 controller the characters does everything with the normal ps3 inputs

            Its more of a language thing. Numbers are universally understood across most languages while notations like down and up are not.

            numerical notation is just the japanese notation, and you can see that in most jp combo vids that show notation.

            then theres the notation used in the american fg community and that notation derived from the
            original notation used on the SF2 cabinets of old as well as the manuals
            and strategy guides for SF2.

            Another notation is the tekken one, thats devided in the american and korean notations.
            The american one uses the directional inputs (ff, b, db) while using the number system for buttons
            while the korean one uses the directional inputs (66, 4, 1) while using the letter system for buttons.

            In how many languages can you say Left,Right,Up,Down?

            Personally I only can say those in 3 but i’m pretty sure anyone with a computer numpad or calculator can understand what 6C means even if they don’t know what that number means. Numpad Notation is more understandable from a universal stand point. Not everyone in the world speaks English.

      well its not really that difficult, the numbers are the motion you do with the stick, if you look at any number pad in a keyboard, you will understand, for example:
      5=neutral
      1=down back
      so
      214=qcb
      236=qcf
      etc
      And then you have other notations like ABCD which are the punches, kicks, etc., and then:
      j=jump
      jc=jump cancel
      RC=rapid cancel

          There are also [] which is charge, [2]8D (hold down, up, Drive). And is some cases you small “d” for delay but in the above they write out “delay”.

          One of the good thing about number notation not yet mentioned is that it makes it easy to write non standard moves like Taokakas Astral [4]128D
          Hold back, down back, down, up, Drive. An inverted quartercircle.

          he gave u a few examples thats not a solution like ur gonna go master the game now get real what he did shouldnt need to be done in the first place why go thru to cipher that bull out in the first place most likely he playing on a ps3 or xbox just use the up down left right square circle x triangle like ps3 which everybody can understand if u cant then ur a DUM DUM no need for the morse code crap

            Wow really, and what did you bring here to explain things to people besides sarcasm and hate, do you even know what notations are, things that every fighting game community uses for every game they like

            Wow, really, then if you’ve been playing Fighting games long enough, then you should already know this stuff by now, and if you are bringing what most people would say, then its only proper to explain what notations are.

            Notations can also be used for controllers, you know what a qcf+hp, or d,df,f+hp does in street fighter right, so 236+hp is the same stuff but if you show it to someone, thats moderatly involved with the fighting game community and doesnt speak a word of english then they understand this.

          he gave u a few examples thats not a solution like ur gonna go master the game now get real what he did shouldnt need to be done in the first place why go thru to cipher that bull out in the first place most likely he playing on a ps3 or xbox just use the up down left right square circle x triangle like ps3 which everybody can understand if u cant then ur a DUM DUM no need for the morse code crap
