Harada Says There Will Be Character Customization in Tekken X Street Fighter

More information on Tekken X Street Fighter is coming in from Katsuhiro Harada’s Twitter. When asked if he would add character customization to the game, Harada bluntly responded “we will.” So be prepared to give all your Tekken and Street Fighter characters King of Fighters costumes. At least, that’s what I’m going to do.

    Actually, Dan was only deconfirmed for Street Fighter x Tekken. Harada actually said that most/all of the cast will be determined by fan votes. So if the character receives a lot of votes in a poll held on Tekken facebook, he could be in the game.

    the boss is going to be dan-pachi a horrible fusion of dan and jinpachi combined by the power of pandora. his moveset will be all fireballs. filling the screen like a 3d bullet hell that you have to weave through while he spams his 2 frame juggle luancher that combos into itself 10x and sets up for 8 free fireballs to the face

I would say “duh” but I forgot that we live in a world where Capcom charges nearly TWENTY-FUCKING-DOLLARS for virtual dresses for their barbies.

Anyone who’s played Tekken 6 knew that TxSF would have superior customization. Now if they keep the game solid and without any stupid gimmicks, it will be the go-to version in this whole cross-over experiment.

        People should be expecting this since theres two versions of the same game ..one made my capcom so essentially the tekken characters will play like capcom characters and vice versa. What disgusted me away from SFxT is the gems gimmick.

Pretty sure this game will come out better than SFxT and I dont play Tekken and haven’t since Tekken 3 or so and I find the game boring as hell to watch, with all that I STILL think this game will be better lmao

The model looks great but then he still has that Hulk butt chin and jaw.
The only problem I see with TxSF in concept is that fans picking the characters usually ends up horrible when it isn’t just a dozen or so to pick.

What a surprise. Totally didn’t see this obvious marketing gimmick coming.

This is definitely the
first bit of news I was waiting to hear from a game that was last known
to be “0% complete.” Not about how they plan to make a 2D-to-3D transition
in SF movesets, not about any new gameplay systems or if anything will
be related to SFxT’s system and not about anything concerning character
roster. I want to hear that I can put a schoolgirl backpack on Chun Li
and put knives on Guile’s feet. I guess it’s more
gameplay-related than using a breast-size lineup pic to announce a new
Soul Calibur game. Well, maybe that *is* gameplay related.

I’m calling it now: TekkenxSF is going to do what Capcom did and add some kind of rpg stat bonus system to the game. Except instead of gems, it’ll be clothing items with stat bonuses
ie. put Iron fortified gloves on your character that increases punching power but causes your punches to be slower.

  They already did that in tekken 6 and it didn’t effect the actual vs mode only the story mode used it. He already made a note saying this game won’t use any gimics like that.
