I think its funny how people forget that Capcom games are anime too.  Especially since “anime” is an abbreviation for “animation” and then referred to a Japan only term.  So literally anything animated form Japan, in any form, is anime.  So Deckers hates all games from Japan.

This game in paticular makes Blaze Blue, King of Fighters, Arcana Heart, Skull Girls and Street Fighter if it was still 2D looking look like shit. Not that Street Fighter looks good, it still looks like shit but in a 2D crappy looking 3D way.

The moves are not very flashy, the music and annoucer are terrible and the game play seems to be as slow as Shit Fighter 4. Capcom isn’t anime, it’s just shit with the same plain ass fucking characters since the 80s and the music keeps getting gayier.

I find it interesting how many people think it should be incredibly high quality or something, but also completely forget that this is a doujinshi game (I think that’s the proper term, but in plain english, it’s a FAN game).

It doesn’t look that much fun to tell the truth, though it also looks like they just randomly gave it to some funimation guys and said ‘play it’

I really like YuYu Hakusho’s dub in particular. The only gripe I had was that nobody could pronounce Yusuke’s family name correctly.

I’m going to say hes talking about the game … graphically because the sprites and stages look amazing. However I have to say the stages though they look awesome they lack activity like other fighters, its just a plain open field …

Gameplay wise everything else is better overall … even MAHVEL.

I’m willing to give this a try. I don’t even know what these Sterns.. .Chaos … whatever the hecks are (Are there really semicolons in both titles?).  I didn’t get where I am today by not taking chances.

Just another fighting game attempting to nuzzle its way into an already full plate of fighters…

Wow, talk about low standards, typical anime fighter fan.  Plays ANYTHING with shit anime chars in it.

I do actually have low standards. I LIKE playing different fighting games, dissecting their flaws and merits, seeing what good and bad ideas they have, and looking at them as an art form. I’m actually quite glad that indie games are getting some of the spotlight. Back when we were five we had to be fiercely loyal to a franchise because our moms would only buy us one game. Now that we are responsible and mature adults with paying jobs, we can dabble in whatever fighters we want.

Nice!  Here’s to variety and the ability to judge and learn from different fighting games firsthand.

Compared to other fan-made games, the artistic cleanness is right at the top with the big name studios. Very fluid and crisp. That said, there seems to be a lot of oomph missing from how they move and fight. It doesn’t look like they’re really putting their all into their moves, and considering there’s stuff like Vanguard Princess out there, the ‘it’s a fan-made game’ excuse doesn’t hold a lot of water with me. If there’s ever another iteration, I hope more time goes into giving the animation the life and impact it deserves
