Persona has uploaded a brand new tutorial for players looking to pick up EX Iori in The King of Fighters XIII. The tutorial goes over basic BnB combos from easy hit-confirms. There’s even some pretty simple max cancel combos thrown in there that take off most of an opponent’s life bar.

Just to show that he knows what he is talking about, Persona also uploaded this companion combo video that skips all the basics and goes straight for the good stuff.

What a waste of slot…They could have added another character…I mean, a different character. Someone with a different name.

Why so serious? I personally like him because minus the crossup kick. Classic Iori and, XIII Iori have 2 different playstyles.

Cry about a “waste” of a slot all you want. I guess it’s a bad look on SNK’s part for trying to keep their characters fresh by giving them new moves throughout the series which lead to these “EX” versions. Guile WISHES he had an “EX” version…

When was the last time Charlie has even been seen, let alone playable?

    Oh yeah, now I remember. MVC2. :|

Have to agree. Even though  classic Iori is returns with his flames, This was waste of slot and i felt that this character should had been included in the along with Nest Kyo, and Mr. Karate. Bringing back old from past series such Blue Mary ,May lee,Jhun Hoon, and Rock Howard would be more appropriate

i dunno, I disagree. The name and design may be similar, but the fact that its two totally distinct playing styles really makes it fine in my opinion. No one complains about Ken, Ryu, and Akuma all being in the same game. Why? Because there playstyles, while very similar have some differences. The difference between EX and Claw is even more pronounced than the differences between the shotos.

as much as i like flame iori hes pretty weak in this game. the me system doesnt work too well with him making him a very wastefull character when it comes to using hd and super stock for very little damage. ofcourse hes still fun to play but claw iori i obviously better in this game. i hope if theres a new kof 14 both claw and flame iori get made into 1 character that shares most of both their moves but redone.

ex kyo is damn good though, but hes also not as goodas 13 one but still very powerfull.

still rather would have had yamazaki instead of these 3 though.
