Are Rocket Raccoon and Amaterasu UMvC3′s Team Best Friends Forever?

Are you one of the few people who pair Rocket Raccoon and Amaterasu? Frustrated with their low damage output? Then look no further than Bmeister‘s latest video. This flashy showcase of technical skill and fantastic synergy combines Rocket Raccoon’s boulder loop with the floaty properties of his super and Amaterasu’s slowdown to create a pseudo-DHC glitch. It’s also meter-positive and does around 988,000 damage thanks to the extensive use of normals that ignore hitstun scaling. He hopes that this exhibition will spark a bit more creativity in the ways the two furry fighters can be used in tandem.

    I feel you.  This should be called (Do Rocket Raccoon and Ammy have good Team Synergy?)  I mean, I don’t know how well RR works with Cold Star or what not but Im not expecting Wolv/Akuma, or Nova/Frank.

    too bad that rocket loop is super hard to pull off consistently, and spencer can push 1 mil alone quite easily with enough health to survive this.

    for Rocky, and Rocky’s Log Trap and Spitfire assists help Ammy get
    around her nerfed airdash.

    That being said, Rocky needs to work too hard to win for them to be
    considered BFF’s, and Rocky’s Boulder Trap loop is stupidly hard to
    execute.  They’re still really fun to play though =)

    i think the boulder loop was invented by Marlin, then adopted by Flash Metroid, then just forgotten about because it’s so damn hard.  Glad to see someone stepped up again to showcase it
