Super Arcade Hosting BlazBlue Revolution US Qualifiers February 25th

While the venue was still waiting to be set back when the BlazBlue Revolution US qualifiers were first announced, it seems Aksys Games has found a location to host the event. Southern California’s famous Super Arcade will be handling the festivities on February 25th, with a special stream provided by Level|Up. BlazBlue Revolution is Japan’s largest invitational, where a multitude of three man teams will duke it out to take home the gold. But here in the States, only one team will be chosen to travel to Japan and compete. So if you think your team is the best North America has to offer, enter this tournament! The winners will be provided full airfare and hotel accommodations by Aksys Games, and will even receive an extra monetary prize if they’re able to take first place in Japan. All the information you’ll need for the event is detailed below.

BlazBlue Revolution US Finals

The BlazBlue Revolution US Finals will take place on February 25, 2012, in Walnut, California at the well known Super Arcade game center. BlazBlue Revolution is your chance for an all-expenses paid trip to Japan to compete against the most powerful player is the world. Don’t miss it!

Venue

Super Arcade
1211 N Grand Ave
Walnut, CA 91789

Free Parking within plaza.
Venue Fee: $0

US qualifier the week after the US release of the game? I guess you’re screwed if you didn’t import. Then again, anyone serious enough to win this would’ve imported it and have been playing for a while anyway, so it doesn’t matter.

What’s with stupid Americans always thinking Japanese players are better? They must think themseleves pretty shitty. Japan just has the arcades and the better players would win the tournament reguardless of race.

Obviously you haven’t been to Japan’s arcade scene…

They are better at the moment until proven otherwise, by people like spark, LK and anyone willing to travel and win us a couple of tourneys.  Spark winning evo is a good start but can we do it again?

I dunno if there was alot of international players attending EVO 2011 but the only legit BB player from japan that i know of who entered was heartnana.  I dunno where tokido stands in BB, but I don’t think he plays it seriously.
