Soul Calibur for iOS Gets a Release Date and Trailer

Namco Bandai Games announced today that the iPhone version of the original Soul Calibur will be released on January 19th. The game features all 19 characters and includes the following gameplay modes:

Arcade Battle
Time Attack (with Game Center leaderboards)
Survival (with Game Center leaderboards)
Extra Survival (with Game Center leaderboards)
Museum
Practice

Namco hasn’t revealed how much the game will cost yet, but it’s apparently a universal app that’s compatible with the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4, and iPad. It will be interesting to see how the controls hold up.

Wha wha wha what!? Damn this looks good compared to the Dreamcast version. I dont care how bad the controls may feel on the iPad. This game is gonna be addicting.

wonder if my gamebreaking MOTB glitch is still in there XP

(I only found it for Kilik, someone else tried it for Voldo, which is even cheaper XP)
(sorry, just wanted to brag on it, as its one of my craziest achievements for fighting games)

can u be kind enough to release this on PlayStation Store with online mode added ?
i never had the chance to play it on DreamCast
only played it on PC using an emulator but emulation wasnt 100% perfect when it comes to game speed
i got hit by Nostalgia attack too
was such a great game
