If you think Marvel 3 is broken, you have no idea what kind of hilarity has transpired in the games of the past. Sengoku Basara X is one of my personal favorite obscure titles for this very reason. Made by Arc System Works in 2008, the game was so broken nearly every character had an infinite jab combo! This was just one example of the many different infinites, insta-kills, and combos that literally lasted so long the time would run out, that the game had to offer. Believe it or not, the fighting game community is still breaking this game, even today. Here are two new Sengoku Basara X videos that have popped up on Youtube within the last 24 hours.
Our first video is an Oichi combo showcase by Vincere44. She mostly just kneels on the ground all day looking stoned while shadows beat you to death.
Our second video comes from TheSoulOfBasement15 and it’s an infinite height combo that carries both characters up off the screen in an infinite string of aerial jabs until the time runs out.
Even though the game was remarkably broken, it was actually quite fun. If you get a chance to unearth a copy then you should pop it into your PS2 to see what “broken” really means.
