King of Fighters XIII – NESTS Kyo R.E.D. Kick Bug

It turns out that there is a moderately game breaking bug in one of King of Fighters XIII’s new DLC characters. If you manage to connect with a command grab on the first frames of NESTS Kyo’s R.E.D. Kick, the command throw and kick will happen at the same time. The result is a throw animation being executed without Kyo in the thrower’s hands, and a Kyo that stays in an animation freeze infinitely. While stuck in this frozen state, Kyo is totally vulnerable. Any hits landed on him count as part of a combo and his life meter will still drop. It’s essentially a free win for the command thrower.
