Basically a lot of random ass shit is thrown in the game so the fucking nerds who spent hundereds of pointless hours in MvC3 get to pretend they are starting over again with a clean slate? Capcom might as well offer a prize to the person who comes up with the best combo video in the first month instead of a tournament.

Guys, I know this is going to sound wierd but. . . . .In Capcom’s defense. . . .*shivers* the patch that we are seeing today was made before the game came out. So there was no way that they would know how bad PW has been doing in tournaments or anything like that. Before the game came out, we ALL thought PW was going to be god-tier and to be honest when I saw that invincible assist I was soo mad that they would put something like that in the game lol. So because they patched it out now doesn’t mean its the end of the world. They could always patch it back in later lol.

Capcom currently has all my tears due to Phoenix Wright patch. The one element that made him viable and somewhat fun to play was taken away. Plus, Heroes and Heralds has no Local Versus and doesn’t allow you to idle in Training Mode while waiting for a match.

It’s incredible how Capcom can get the majority of a game right but then screw up the tiny details that would improve and streamline the experience.

I really wish Capcom would put out patch notes for their games ><.  I'd love to see all the changes they make and not wait for the community to dig them out.

waiting for the full list of nerf/buffs, theres a problem with nemesis, he has an infinite and thats why i stopped playing this game until this gets fixed

You guys are acting like idiots, honestly. Look, I know you are upset about PW’s Assist not having invincibility anymore, but you guys don’t even LEARN how to play him effectively on point, because he can be effective on point, but no, you think he’s only good as an assist. Nerfing his assist is good so now we don’t have to see noobs spamming that assist over and over again, it’s people like you that give PW a bad name, saying that his trash in every way, when it’s actually you guys who don’t sit your butt on the sofa to learn how you have to play with him.

There’s tons of ways to hit people with OBJECTION! and getting 3 pieces of evidence isnt hard when you have Maya’s shield (which got faster) and you can even cover it with assists. I don’t know why people say that it’s difficult to get into turnabout mode because it’s not THAT hard. Especially with assists like Hidden Missiles and Vajira.

since Capcom probably created this patch before release, I could understand why they would have predicted wright assist would’ve been gdlk. I feel bad for Capcom but even worse for all those warriors picking wright who almost have to drop him now.

Don’t use Phoenix but that assist was pretty neat and viable, I’m trying to figure out the thought process from Capcom. This makes Frank look even more awesome. Way too much work for PW  when you can get lvl 5 Frank in a simple THC. But at least they fixed that Take That! phrase right?

Capcom’s games solely centers around the casual market without “totally” alienating the hardcore; now having said, I think this is a sound balance change to the character. His assists in its absolute form isn’t fair but rather cheap and annoying and I only could imagine how vexing it is to the casual player. This is a sound change and it hasn’t decreased the viability of the character because he is still a powerful character in that mode.
