Desk’s Video Guide to UMVC3 Dec. 19th “Heroes and Heralds” Patch Changes/Fixes

Interested in seeing what has changed in the most recent Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 patch? Well Desk has put together a video guide that runs down every fixed bug and patched glitch. Not to worry though, his final clip shows us that there are still plenty more glitches to find.

  Shame….Capcom really needs to give Desk a job on the QA team. Its crazy how he finds all these bugs. At least they can be fixed on the fly now like PW assist..lol

      I Remember a commentator making a mistake and saying something about Desk being dead… but he was talking about something completely different that was happening in the match. Commentator didn’t notice but I know that’s when it started. wish i could find the match he said it.

    Yea it was a classless joke by stream monsters. 8.95 jokes were funny, the oni one was actually somewhat funny, but this wasn’t by a long shot.

Dante has been nerfed also it seems. One of his BnB combos I could easily do is now impossible outside X-Factor.

cr. L, M, H, F+H, DP+S~M, Jump Cancel, Air M, Air H, qcf+L, S, Super jump, Air M, Air M, double jump, Air M, Air H, qcf+H, qcf+atkatk.

That combo would work all the time. I’ve tried it like 20 times in training mode and now if I do the double jump, the enemy will flip out of the air QCF+H after just 2 hits. Trying to compentsate for that without the double jump, now the opponent has a strong possiblity of recovering from the spinning animation if the attack lands and knocks them away, almost just above million dollars.

  It does some things really well but its such a scrub-based mash fest. i think i can only enjoy playing it casually. playing online seems to really make me salty playing it… instead of a 4 bar or 3 bar connection they all feel like 1.

What is most interesting to me is that Desk managed to find two completely new glitches after a glitch fixing patch.

As always, it’s a crazy fest for Desk and glitches, finding new ones and checking out old ones. Great videos to watch because they help a lot!

As a side note, and I REALLY want to use this in the future (you are obliged to use this at your leisure), behold the current state of the Capcom side of the FG (most notably SRK’s part) community:

Capcom VS. Fanbase 3: Fate of Two Games
Alternate: Ultimate Capcom VS. Fanbase 3
Then there’s this (which I might post in the most recent post of that recent debate about the DLC costumes): Marvel VS. Royalty: Clash of Super Authority

(to elaborate, the two games mentioned in the first part would be UMvC3 and SFxT. One might debate to replace UMvC3 with AE2012.)
