DOA5 Screenshots, Dynamic Attraction Information from Famitsu, Hitome and Ayane Return

Though the game isn’t quite close to being completed, Famitsu released a few Dead or Alive 5 screenshots from the latest Weekly Famitsu, as well as a bit of info on new battle strategies that will arise from the stage design. Thanks to their devotion to each stage’s “dynamic attractions,” the DOA5 team has crafted unique experiences in each battle arena. From runaway cars to crumbling pillars, dangerous portions of the landscape can be used to your advantage, adding a random but exciting element to every battle.

In older DoAs, when you knocked someone off of something, then there was usually a special falling scene. Now, when someone is knocked off of something, the same thing happens but a QTE also pops up, and if they get it right, then they take less damage.

DoA2 was a pretty fun game for it’s time.
DoA3 was pretty watered-down but a fun “party game” (multiplayer).
DoA2U was better than DoA3 but still wasn’t as good as DoA2. (ex. Freestep backwards)

I’m glad with the direction they’re going with this, minus the QTE; I can imagine how that will get annoying.

I’m especially happy that they’re presenting the female characters as… human. I mean, they show emotion, and… they’re wearing CLOTHES! AND Team Ninja isn’t trying to push tits in your face! This would never happen with Itagaki there, as much as I like him.
