Dimps Talks About the Visual Design for Street Fighter IV

Impress GAME Watch is has an interview with the Street Fighter IV team from Dimps about the visual design of the series.

Fresh off winning an award from CEDEC (the Japanese Computer Entertainment Developers Conference) for Visual Design in relation to their work on Street Fighter IV and its iterations (Super, AE), the team goes pretty in depth on the technical details of how they came up with the unique visual design of the games.  The article also shows some screenshots from early development versions of the game which look very different from what we have now, some of which we’ve shared below.
