Looking to step up your Cody game this turkey day?  has you covered. In this combo video he walks you through some basic practical combos before going all out with some more advanced tech. Lots of interesting ways to combo into Ultra 1 here, as well as a couple “kill only” Ultra 2 combos which only hit the first part before coming unsafe. Even cooler? He does all of these combos by keyboard. Gotta love alternate input methods.

All the power to him, but man does Cody do a lot of damage for free. Meter just makes him even more scary.

so the main difference between the basic & advance combos is the 1-frame link between st. MP to cr. HP. yea i agree it’s pretty difficult to get after a f. MP

i dunno, i don’t want to be a drag, but there have already been many other cody combo videos on youtube that cover the gist of what’s in this video and so much more

for free? only someone who hasn’t tried using him against a tough opponent would say that. you really have to work hard for your opportunities as cody. bear in mind that almost all of the combos in this video start with jumping HP/HK, which would get anti-aired or blocked the vast majority of the time in a real fight. most methods of entry are going to require quick normals which do less damage and less hit-stun. the start-up times for all of his specials are very slow, they’re very punishable, and he has probably the worst wake-up game out of the entire roster. but yes, put him in the right hands and he can be scary.

Yeap, those would be his cahmbos.

Speaking of damage for free: As a Cody mainer since Super, that happens when Cody gets knocked down, gg Akuma.
