Im pretty sure that K Srai doesnt enter tournaments. The only vids Ive ever seen are of XBL ranked matches against Daigo etc and most of the people say comments like “Its a shame he doesnt enter tournaments”

Now about this article. Wouldnt Japanese Killers apply to players who can beat/kill the big Japanese players? Just like in sports where you get “giant killers” who are small teams that seem to go against the odds and beat the bigger teams. So a true japanese killer is someone who can go toe to toe with the best of Japan. Mike Ross beating Mago at Shadowloo for 1 example. Im being picky but still, thats what I figured when I saw the headline.

The killers are simply people with seeding points, the unranked players are simple people with out any. They’re not implying Choco is better than the likes of Fuudo or Shiro.

As everyone has said, the killers vs. “unranked strong players” thing is really dumb. Shiro is basically as good as anyone in the world and would probably be just as good and famous as Umehara if he were as dedicated.
