KoFXIII – Kim Team Combo Tutorials

DontDropThatCombo finished their set of combo tutorials for King of Fighters XIII’s Kim Team. The Kim Team has historically always been Kim Kaphwan and the two criminals he is trying to reform with Taekwondo (Chang and Choi). In KoFXIII, however, you’ll find Kim paired with Hwa Jai and Raiden. Big Bear is indeed iron tough.

Kim’s combos are Godlike! I used to play with him back in the ’98 and I was not so damn good with him, but above the average players.
I will try those nasty combos right now! Man, I have to get my level back!

did none of you see the awesome that was raiden? the dude had at least 4 100% combos. most of the rest could have been the same but they played around for varietiy. that dude is way scarier than the other two. especially as it doesn’t seem to rely heavily on link combos. hwa and kim look flashy, but raiden gets the job done.

  If you’ve been following this game at all you’d know that raiden’s drop kick combos are the cheapest BNB combos in the game, but they’re also a bit limiting. Basically his drop kick is a turn punch, so you have to hold down both kick buttons for ~ 30 seconds before you really do any damage.
  
  The good news is, while this may seem very very cheap (and it is) you can still beat raiden because he has terrible mobility and those drop kicks are pretty easy to bait out. So if you just don’t respect raiden for the first half of the round, you’ll beat him.
