cool vid..i never used balrog up until about 2 monthes ago….and i really like him. as a former shooto guy, it has been trickky getting used to charge charge charachters. vids like this help out alot.

Oh come on he makes a valid point. Someone who just now started to care about balrog could easily find keno’s/javitz old videos from vanilla.
Plus – what does the video teach you REALLY? “If you wanna dash into ultra, you have to dash, then do ultra”…………..

on the contrary i learned something new that i never thought of looking in old guides for and am glad that it was posted. it says its old news, and no one is forcing you to watch it, so why complain?

Complaining is because keits likes to flood the front page with a lot of useless shit so that the one(ish) important thing that might have happened that day gets pushed to the side so much faster.

I’m not sure if 1:07 is correct but i would have to try it to be sure… but 1:42 has me lost. is he doing an EX move into super? don’t u waste a bar doing that making the super impractical? Or was that supposed to be Focus canceling? if that is the case, then it should be mp+mk and not 2 punches… right?

he uses the ex to absorb a hit and cancels the focus absorb into a supern or ultra which in this game is viable since it acts as a liason to the super. This means the super doesn’t get used right away it is instead applied to the super. imagine it like a kara cancel that looks like it should waste meter but does and it can go take a hit and go thruogh projectiles.

Still not particularly practical. Couldve just done super/ultra to the same effect without risky execution.

imeant ex bar doesn’t get used right away.

stuff like this is what youd normally supposed to try out to see what the gamesystem allows on the first day in training. good for those that didnt know i guess.

Been a balrog player for a while now, and while most of this stuff is old to me, however the change of direction inputs had been a little difficult and I’m glad to have seen this vid.

Wrong. Adding the ex armor cancel makes it an option select. If theres a fireball thereto be absorbed, you get the cancel into ultra, if theres no fire ball, you just get an ex rush punch

Would you rather just see one article every three days to update the front page? Think of the front page like a status feed for those of use who just visit a couple sites in rotations, looking for something new to jump out to watch. Mostly get the fuck over yourself and just dont click stuff you don’t want to watch.

I love KI2 and the music is awesome.

Best use of SA cancels is armor punch into armor punch to get through dhalsim BS.

KI does rule, and yes rare need to get it out on xbla, but the music is/was/and will be fucking terrible
