MvC3 – Ryu, Akuma, and Zero Combos

Japanese player EOLE published this Marvel vs Capcom 3 combo video, which was later reuploaded by SMOAI. It features solo and team combos for Ryu, Akuma, and Zero. Many of these score enough damage to kill Thor, even though some use exchanges and consume a lot of meter.

Most impressive was Akuma really. The others were the basics for Ryu/Zero.

  • BMsirhc1313

Actually those Akuma combos were pretty basic, you probably just havent seen them yet but theres a few Akuma players thats been doing those on stream for awhile now

    • RaHavic

Yeah I know but from a subpar combo vid like this that was the most impressive, thats all I was saying.

  • ProjectNeo2501

    Cuz it was Japanese

  • DietDrKelp

Ryu and akuma synergy is much better than shown in this video, check out the ryu section in mvc3.

    Not a very impressive video.

  • Jamheald

    That was crap.

People in the Zero forums have better stuff it’s true, it’s mostly because we been working on stuff even before we got the game. And I don’t only mean the Zero forums, even some other forums like the Doom forums already have very advanced combos months before they were even show, or when “Timothy invented”.

Agreed. That video was less than stellar. Really dug yours though, Avarice.

  • RaHavic

^ Like he said, found your video alot more enlightening.

Probably because the first two minutes consisted of DHCs, and then went on to combos that kill regular Phoenix? Do we really need to know combos that kill regular Phoenix?

  • Phillpro1

    u mad bro?

  • Vidness

I feel ya man. I see some of these Dorm and Skrull combos on the front page and I smh…

  • AvariceX

    kinda :)

  • Phillpro1

    ^LOL :P

  • AvariceX

The Phoenix part was admittedly unnecessary; I debated with myself for a long time about whether to include it – in the end I just decided not to waste footage. I really wanted to showcase how synergistic that team was with the DHC’s though, and I had received criticism in the past for including DHC’s in the combos (although now that I think about it that criticism seems unfounded)….but hey at least I told everyone exactly what timestamp to skip to (and the info section even gives a more detailed timestamp index).
