    I am kind of surprised that he didn’t mention that you can instant overhead in any stance by instant air-dashing and canceling the air-dash with any attack.

    Also you can use the previously mentioned instant overhead with Ammy’s jump-cancelable st.H and cr.H, to not only create some good mixup, but also partially negate pushblocking.

      u DO know that using instant air dashing its not nearly a instant overhead as fast as j.L right?

      the thing about an instant overhead is that you arent supposed to be able to react to it because it is INSTANT. Instead, you have to read the overhead to block it. Cancelling airdash into C or another jump attack is a fast overhead, but it is still blockable on reaction

        Well I guess it isn’t really instant, but I think that the telegraphing coming from the stance change is easier to react to (yes, I know that you can instead go for a fast low but the stance change gives you time to chicken block if there is no assist covering it).

    How is amaterasu “seemingly simple”?

      When you are just starting out Ammy is a button mashers dream, my 10yr old daughter loves ammy. Once you get a bit better and start to learn the game ammy becomes more complex because after someone has been a victim of button mashing a few times they know what to watch for and you have to learn the more complex aspects of ammy to continue to win.

        Your 10 year old daughter probably loves Ammy because she’s a wolf goddess that can control the weather.

        Nobody who’s played fighting games for more than a month will fall for a player that’s *actually* just mashing f+H, they’ll just blame getting hit on f+H because it ends up in a large number of her combos.

    Quite frankly, Clockw0rk is wasting his time. The most impressive Ammys that appear nowadays are the ones from X Ray and Mago, those Ammys switch to Glaive and stay in Glaive. With Glaive you can zone and do much more damage than the other weapons, people are still finding out new amazing combos with the Glaive. That, and trying to find out ways to get the most out of slowdown the way Chris G did, is what that will unlock the full potential of Ammy. The weapon changing crap that Clockw0rk is trying out will not work; why bother playing Ammy as a rushdown character when you can play Wolverine instead? And berserker charge, berserker slash, dive kick, etc? Clockw0rk should be wondering instead about why his Ammy and Doom are increasingly looking free, whether they will work well with Phoneix in the first place.
