KoFXIII – Team Iori Combo Tutorials

Dont Drop That Combo’s series of King of Fighters XIII combo tutorials continues with the Iori Team. You’ll learn a lot about Iori, Vice, and Mature in the videos below.

  • EDDUR

I’m considering putting one member of Team Yagami on my team. So far Vice has got the advantage.

  • Xrebellion

Good time to be a fighter…*raised fist*

  • shaktazuki

    Is Iori the original emo?

  • Adnan199X

Flashy stuff. Mature still looks like she’s a blast to play with, although I’m sad her old look wasn’t used (dat ‘kinda but not quite’ upskirt) Lucky is probably never going to return, and I don’t think Saisyu will be coming back either, so I can’t use my KOF ’98 team D: Still looking forward to this though.

I’m kinda sad that vice and mature don’t have their old look either but their new duds aren’t bad. I’m gonna miss them legs though and the dress as a whole was better looking.

One of the funnier dialogues in the game goes like:

Mai: You’re only changing your look to be more popular. Well I’ve got news for you, it doesn’t work!
Mature: Sounds like you’re speaking from experience there, sweetie.
        Mai: S-shut up!

  • NyuBomber

    Heck yea, Vice! :D

Yes, my boy Iori snappin’ necks and cashin’ cheques! Can’t wait for console release to try (and fail) these combos!

  • Kayame

    Who care about Iori?
    Mature all day
    Hope Shermie is console exclusive

  • Karlito504

    Vice’s combos look fun

i still dont understand the point of “teams” in this game…it just seems like its still a 1v1 game even though you pick 3 characters…is it like one character builds up meter for the 2nd or 3rd character so they have a higher chance of winning at the end or what?

excuse my ignorance im just not that knowledgeable with the KOF series…i do like it tho

    • Adnan199X

Yes, that’s exactly how it is. So what people usually do is use a character that’s good at using meter first, like you implied. One neat thing it does is that it allows character can’t do much damage without meter (i.e. probably a low-tier character) have more of a chance, if they’re second or third on your team.
