Namco announced the Tekken Hybrid disc today. This BluRay will include the Tekken Blood Vengeance CG movie, and when used in a Playstation 3, a full HD remake of the original Tekken Tag Tournament. What a package!

    I was gonna get a ps2 for 2 things: 1) play ssx tricky 2) play tekken tag tourney, now I only need to get a ps2 for one thing, this shit is hype.

    I was just thinking about this the other day, why is TTT not given the HD treatment for the current gen, it’s the only other tekken game other than 6 for the home worth playing at this point.

    After the embarrassment that was the Tekken movie, I’ll take anything that Namco actually produces.

    Looking forward to it, Tekken always used to be known for great CG intros, this is a way to keep that going.

    I knew they were going to make a re-release! Day 1 purchase for me. I bought a ps2 for 2 games back then and they were Max Payne and TTT. Great that they are doing it in HD, gotta love namco.

    Hmm, not really interested in the movie cause let’s be real here; the Tekken story is trash and the only worthwhile thing about the franchise is the gameplay, but TTT in HD is quite tempting, especially considering TTT2 probably won’t be out on consoles for at least mid-to-late 2012. Not sure how much I’d pay for it, but if the price seems reasonable I’d consider getting this.

    Namco CGs imo has always been par w/SquareSoft/Enix so I’m def. getting this. TTT would be fun once in a while as well. Great Job Namco!! Please release another Hori-Namco stick lol!!!

    Throwing in a free game is always a smart move when it comes to DVDs. I wasn’t particularly interested in this movie at first, but now I am!
