The Marvel vs Capcom 3 facebook continues its updates in the Assist of the Day article series, in which a well known player analyses the recorded gameplay of a player looking for advice. Today, its James Chen helping out Mark Ruffin.
“If X-23 and Taskmaster are on your main team, I would largely suggest swapping their order. Putting X-23 first and Taskmaster second would be a huge benefit to your team. Not only would Taskmaster’s excellent Arrow Assists be useful for getting X-23 in, but X-23 can use the DHC trick into Taskmaster’s counter Hyper Combo. Have your third character, like Deadpool, be the combo extender for X-23 so after her air combo, just call Deadpool’s Katana-rama Assist and combo right into X-23′s Weapon X Prime Hyper Combo. From there, you can easily DHC glitch the end of it into Task’s counter Hyper Combo for huge damage. And then, once Task is in, you’ll have a bit harder time because the Ankle Slice and Katana-rama won’t help Taskmaster get in, but Taskmaster can usually make up for it because he’s a good character.”
